It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Garth MacFarland of Canajoharie, New York, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Colonel John J MacFarland and Harriet McDonald MacFarland. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Manning; his grandchildren, Lt. Gen, Lynda of Texas, Joseph G MacFarland of Massachusetts and Lisa of Alabama; and his daughters, Tracey Stetin (Daniel), Alicia M. Arbuthnot (Rick) and Erin B. Greene (Charles). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
