He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas H. and Gertrude; and his former wife Vernette. He is survived by: his wife Bernice; his children, Thomas E. Jacobsen (Cindy) of Camillus, Cynthia Schaap of Hastings, Karen Ristoff (Kime) of Syracuse, Denise Burts (Lee), Michele Bollig (Dave), Deb Demers (Bill O'Donnell), Roy Demers (Karen) and Renee Mahle (Dan); and his siblings, William Jacobsen (Carol) of Syracuse and Doris Hopper of Syracuse. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
