He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn B. Discenza; his parents, Clarence C. Buckel and J. Arlene Buckel; and his siblings, Jane Engelbrecht and Rev. Ronald Buckel.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Jr. (Mary Vossler) of Syracuse, Paul (Diana) of Asheville, NC, David (Terri) of St. Petersburg, FL and Cynthia Goffredo (Thomas) of Camillus. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
