He was predeceased by: his son Samuel; his parents, Samuel and Mary; and his sister Maria Fanizzi. He is survived by: his wife Sherry; his children, Alicia Griffo-Abdo of Camillus, Cara Griffo of Camillus, Alan (Margaret) of Camillus, Scott (Pam) of Baldwinsville and Richard "Punkiey" (Gina) of Syracuse; his grandchildren, Nathan, Kyle, Jenna, Catherine, Morgan (Trevor), Michael, Ethan, Casper and Tessa Rose; his great grandchild Meredith; and his son-in-law Jonathan Abdo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
