He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta; his parents, Maurice O'Brian and Marian O'Brian; and his brother John D. O'Brien. He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Hewitt of Greenville, SC; his grandchildren, Sharlee Nazarkiewicz, Liam and Riley Etienne; and his brother Thomas.
