She was predeceased by: her parents, John Carpenter and Margaret Carpenter (King); her son Michael Kane; and her brothers, Jack and James.
She is survived by: her husband Robert C. Kane Jr.; her children, Mary Beth Fee (Stephen) of Newburgh, Theresa Smith (Jeff) of LeRoy, Thomas Kane (Mary) of Syracuse, Martin Kane (Ann) of Rochester, Brian Kane (Lisa) of North Carolina, Margaret Patch (Jon) of Camillus and Robert Kane III of Ithaca; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Tobin (Kane).
Marie will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt.In lieu of flowers,.
