He was predeceased by: his father Lysle E. Bassett; and his siblings, Richard Bassett and Virginia Curtis. He is survived by: his wife Esther Bassett (Stagnitta); his daughters, Kelli LaMontagne (Chris) and Janil Wilson (Luke); his grandchildren, Aimee, Morgan, Stephanie, Ryan, Kennedi and Ian; and his siblings, Francis, June, Marlene Bassett and Dolores Coleman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
