He was predeceased by: his parents, Leone Macro and Concetta Macro (Vaccaro); and his wife Frances. He is survived by: his children, Michael Macro (Nancy), Marc Macro (Tracy) and Mary Ellen Koloski (Patrick); his grandchildren, Dylan, Monica, Lauren, Ashlee, Conor, Sean, Kendall, Nathan and Connor; and his great grandchildren, Sawyer, Ryder, Quinn, Jack, Avery, Nora, Viviana and Lilah.
