He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Strait and Marie Strait; and his nephew Frederick "Ricci" Strait. He is survived by: his pet Bailey; his wife Julie; his children, Jeff Strait, Greg Strait (Jackie), Brett Strait (Emily) and Pamela DeJohn; his grandchildren, Ashley, Brooke, Caitlyn, Brady, Rachel, Madison, Scott, Benjamin and James; his great grandchildren, Mia, Olivia and Kali; his brother Fred Strait (Patricia); and his nephew Jay Strait.
