James Franklin Porter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Franklin Porter of Camillus, New York, born in Mineola, New York, who passed away on August 7, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Francis and Matilda Stefan Porter; and his wife Janice. He is survived by: his children, J. Scott Porter (Susan) of Seneca Falls, NY, Jennifer Kraus (Bob) of Manlius, NY, Jonathan Porter (Lin) of Mill Valley, CA and Jason Porter (Jennifer) of Bedford, NH.; his grandchildren, Stephen, Hannah, Nora, Sean Kraus, Catherine, Jeremy Porter, Jack, Ben Porter, Jocelyn and Jared Porter; and his sister Alberta Sabia of Rochester. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Even when COVID separated them, he always ensured she had plenty of bananas and caramel creams.
