He was predeceased by: his former wife Irene; and his wife Jean. He is survived by: his children, Nancy Heffernan of Dallas, TX, Edward (Cheryl) of Camillus and John (Teddi) of Memphis; his grandchildren, Brendan, Thomas and Stephen Heffernan; his great grandchildren, Owen, Miles, Luke and Sloane; and his sister Patricia Gordon of Buffalo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
