He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Gunnar and Ruth Elizabeth Granholm (Perkins); his wife Carol Granholm (Greene); his daughter Danielle Madison (James); his stepchildren, Craig LaGoy (Patty) and Candace Grell (Michael); his former wife Melanie Simonds; his children, Christopher Granholm (Sharon), Gretchen Blasczienski, Keith Granholm (Jennifer) and Karl Granholm (Hannah); his daughter-in-law Wanda Granholm (Gary); and his sisters, Betsy (Ron) and Jan (Bob).
