He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo and Stella; and his siblings, Leo, William, John and Lois Widowski Kananen.
He is survived by: his wife Carmela Piraino; his children, Carol LaMontagne, Linda Burns, Nancy DeJohn (Don) and Paul Widowski (Anna); and his brother Thomas Widowski. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
