He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Nolton and Minnie Nolton (Evans); his daughters, Amy Nolton (Nick) of Cameron, Rebecca Taft (Joshua) of Greenwood and Jessica Loper (Adam) of Canisteo; his grandchildren, Kindra Nolton, Jaycie, Damian Taft, Noah and Briar Loper; his grandmother Coleene Durkin of Corning; his siblings, William Nolton of Cameron and Wanda Boyd of Parsons, TN; his brothers-in-law, William Young and Gordon Foster; his grandson Kaden Nolton; and his siblings, Royce Nolton, Helen Smith, Mary Smith, Marjorie McDonald, Marilyn Tyler, Shirley Foster, Evelyn O'Konski and Katherine Young.
Memorial contributions in Richard's name may be made to any Veterans' Organization of the donor's choice or to any organization that will benefit the welfare of children.
