She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Rush and Eva Rush (Howland); her husband Walter G. Smolenski of John's Rectory; her grandson Mark LaPrairie; and her siblings, Harold Rush, Beatrice Ceterski and Arlene Smolenski.
She is survived by: her daughters, Donna LaPrairie (Tom), Diane Riley (Peter), Carol Hayes (late Jovial Hayes) and Lori Heath (late Floyd Heath); her grandchildren, Thomas, David LaPrairie, Heidi Hathaway, Kelli Harris, Nicholas Riley, Travis, Tyler Hayes, Jared, Nathan and Corey Heath; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Carolelyn, Brody, Parker LaPrairie, Riley, Carson, Reese Hathaway, Ethan, Owen, Emily Harris, Quinn, Bryce Riley, Grace, Liam, Spencer, Tucker, Delaney Hayes, Emma, Ella, Jagger, Isla, Hailey and Saylor Heath. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home Inc. - Camden (9464 NY-13, Camden, NY 13316). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's Church (35 3rd St, Camden, NY 13316).
