He was predeceased by: his brothers, John McGovern and James McGovern; and his nephew Timothy Southard. He is survived by: his parents, Willis James and Ada Marie Flanagan McGovern; his siblings, Michael, Donna, Christine Rose, Daniel McGovern (Jennifer Sherwood), Mary (Pat Burkhart), Terrance (Betty McGovern), Eileen (Mike Cook) and Willis (Shirley McGovern); and his sister-in-law Lorraine McGovern of Utica, NY. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, as well as many friends and his coworkers.
