She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Fanning and Carol Stephenson Fanning; her husband Michael L. Hayes; her brother Tim; and her siblings-in-law, Danny "Jovial" Hayes and Laurie Hayes Britton.
She is survived by: her stepson Senator Hayes (Meaghan); her stepgrandsons, Mason and Lawson; her brother Tom Fanning; and her siblings-in-law, Judi Hayes, Sharon Comstock, Carol Hayes and Jim Britton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
