He is survived by: his uncle Stephen Wafer; his mother Linda Johnson Wafer Powell; his stepfather Robert Powell Jr.; his son Leland; his sisters, Carrie Buetow (William), Jennie Wafer (Jessica Britton) and Annie Wafer; his niece Claire; his nephews, James and Gabriel; his stepsisters, Sarah and Alison; and his pet Serge. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
