He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Andrew S. Knauer and Harriette Baker Knauer; his close friend Lee Sandifer; his sisters, Patricia Burchard and Rosalind; and his brother-in-law Alan NaPier. He was also cherished by five nieces and two nephews; six cousins, and several great nieces and nephews.
