He was predeceased by: his parent Harry Mathers; his wife Shirley Peters Mathers; and his siblings, Roger Mathers and Elizabeth Humphrey. He is survived by: his parent Nina Mathers (Elliott); his son Roger Mathers of Cambridge; his daughter-in-law Danielle Dupuis of Cambridge; his grandchildren, Madeline Mathers and Jack Mathers; and his sister Joan Carbonaro of Florida.
