With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis K. Tate of Cambridge, New York, born in Bennington, Vermont, who passed away on October 25, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Kittel and Nina Kittel (Swan); her husband Lawrence "Bud" Tate; her son-in-law Gary Moses; and her sisters, Hazel Apfelbeck and Polly Dunn.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Tate Moses of Cambridge and Alan L. Tate of Buskirk; her grandchildren, Michael Moses (Heather) of Eagle Bridge and Jodie Sinsabaugh (Ron) of Cambridge; her great grandchildren, Colby, Ashley Moses, Kylie and Ayla Sinsabaugh; and her brother Joseph Kittel of Randolph, VT..
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cambridge United Presbyterian Church (81 E Main St, Cambridge, NY 12816). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at the Woodlands Cemetery Cemetery (76 N Union St, Cambridge, NY 12816).
