It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Rowland of Cambridge, New York, who passed away on September 5, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Rowland and Mabel Rowland (Skidmore); and his siblings, Clifford "Skip" Rowland, Raymond "Bug" Rowland, Shirley Woodcock and Anna Rowland.
He is survived by: his wife Ethyl Mae Rowland (Townsend); his children, Debbie Williams (Mark) of Averill Park, Lawrence Rowland (Julie) of Cambridge, Walter Townsend of Cambridge, Robert Rowland (Jessica) of Cambridge and Greg Rowland (Rachel) of Greenwich; his grandchildren, Brian Townsend (Sarah) of Averill Park, Mark Williams, Jr. (Lauren) of Edgefield, SC, Nick Rowland (Molly), Alyssa Rowland of Cambridge, Jakob Hahn of Hoosick Falls, Caleb Rowland (Sarah) of Cambridge, Joseph of Cambridge, Zach of Cambridge, Bradley of Cambridge, Shania of Cambridge, Kolin of Cambridge, Jackson Rowland of Cambridge and Jeffrey Norton of Greenwich; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Will, Belle, Vivian, Harper and Chase; and his sister Barbara Rowland of Cambridge. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
