He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Hunt and Margaret Harwood Hunt; his children, Kevin Hunt, Jr. and Nikki Hunt; and his brother Eugene R. Hunt, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Gates Hunt of Cambridge; his children, Nicole Young (Gary) of Cambridge, David Robie of Pownal, VT and Tyrell Hunt of Davenport, NY; his siblings, Keith Hunt of Bennington, VT, Scott Hunt of Bennington, VT, Doug Hunt (Mary) of Pownal, Shannon Hunt (Robbin) of Cambridge and Penny Bursey of Cambridge; his grandchildren, Treven Robie of Cambridge and Alexus Robie of North Adams, MA; his aunt Carol; his uncle Stan Hunt of Buskirk; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
