He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his daughters, Kristin Gillen of Clifton Park and Katherine "Katie" Gillen of Clifton Park; his brother Jerome (Jeanne Gillen) of Hazlet, NJ; and his nieces, Jeanmarie Gillen and Dr. Jennifer Gillen Richardson (Christopher).
