He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, James Ashley, Jeffrey Ashley of Rensselaer and Olivia Ashley of Clifton Park; his granddaughter Mallory Ashley; and his siblings, Daniel Ashley, Susan Ashley, Lawrence Ashley (Donna), North Greenbush and Jude Mellan (Dennis). He was also cherished by several nieces and a nephew.
