He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Ronald Carpenella and Tessie Rauso; his wife Mary; and his sister Phyllis. He is survived by: his siblings, Carmella, Marie, Michael, Johanna, Anthony, Diana, Ann Marie and Ellen; his stepmother Ellen; his siblings-in-law, Philip and Liz; and his nieces and nephews, Philip, Ross, Alyssa, Michael, Anthony James, Connor and Lisa. He is also survived by many other family members, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Towers Funeral Home Inc. (2681 Long Beach Rd, Oceanside, NY 11572). A Mass was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 9:45 AM at the St Anthonys RC Church (110 Anchor Ave, Oceanside, NY 11572). A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933).
