Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Cohill and Mary Julia Hackman Cohill; and his son Timothy. He is survived by: his former wife Audrey Callahan Cohill; his children, Clinton, James Cohill Jr. and Catherine A. Gates; and his wife Annette Dennigan Cohill. He is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The military honors was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calverton National Cemetery (210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, NY 11933).
