She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Lee Konieczny; and her husband Thomas James Carroll. She is survived by: her brothers, Raymond and Vincent; her daughters, Janet Kneisel and Diane Belinski; her sons-in-law, Jimmy and Justin; and her grandchildren, Katherine, Bridget, Kellie, Thomas and Aaron.
As Genevieve was a voracious reader throughout her lifetime, her family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Library Association.
