She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Caffrey and Lena Adams Caffrey; her husband Arnold Baum; and her sisters, Beatrice Caffrey Teeple (Virgil) of Equinunk, PA and Freda Caffrey Stalker (Clarence).
She is survived by: her daughters, Valerie Baum Lingeman of McLean, VA and Willow Baum of Callicoon; her son-in-law Christopher Lingeman; her grandsons, Anton and Adam Lingeman; and her stepgrandchildren, Nicholas, Chloe, Madeleine and Clayton Lundgren. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
She and Arnold also established a dedicated investment fund for the Hancock Community Education Foundation, supporting their "birth to college" mission.
