He was predeceased by: his parents, John Herbert and Wilhelmine Huebsch Bauernfeind; his wife Florrine Bauernfeind; his son Ivan; his grandson Robert Peek; his siblings, Marjorie Bery, Glenn and Ross Bauernfeind; and his brother-in-law John Bauernfeind (Sondra).
He is survived by: his children, Marie Peek (Jim Peek) of Bath, NY, Roy Bauernfeind (Nancy) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Mark Bauernfeind (Patricia) of Milanville, PA; his grandchildren, Andrew Peek and Heather Slane (Dan); and his siblings-in-law, Raj Bery, Magoly Bauernfeind and Judy Bauernfeind. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
