She was predeceased by: her husband Verne; her parents, Louis Mitterwager and Eleanor Mitterwager; her son Blaine Houghtaling; and her siblings, Beverly Houghtaling, Lois Houghtaling, Sylvia Mitterwager and Kenneth Mitterwager.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Busch (Walter), Bruce Houghtaling (Rhonda) and Andrea Milucky (Dennis Zane); and her sisters, Cheryl Porter (Oscar), Gail Peake (Ron) and Karen Hubert (Tom). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Allan Milk Post VFW Long Eddy, New York or to Pine Mill Community Hall, Equinunk, Pa.
