He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Andkjar and Ella Klaudig Andkjar; and his grandson Andrew Andkjar. He is survived by: his wife Helga Elizabeth Talstrom Andkjar; his children, Eric Andkjar (Virginia) of Charlottesville, VA and Elise Freda (Joseph) of Callicoon, NY; his granddaughter Amy Barnes (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Teagan and Lauren Barnes.
