He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kolbe and Jennie Sommer Kolbe; and his siblings, Eleanor Kolbe Zahn and Norman Kolbe. He is survived by: his wife Rita Kolbe (Schick); and his children, Cindy Peters (David), Cathy Reimer (Lee) and Michael Kolbe (Kim).
