It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William G. Maher of Caledonia, New York, born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on October 3, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Leo Maher; his siblings, Marilyn Luke, Donald and Douglas Maher; and his mother Marilyn McMahon Maher.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Weis Maher; his children, Rick Emerson (Angela Holland) of Leicester, Dan Emerson (Stacy) of York, Melissa Emerson (Paul Montoya Sr.) and Heidi Wallace (Larry McClain) of Caledonia; his grandchildren, Tyler, Trevor, McKenzie, Kaitlyn, Allyson, Sydnee, Meredith, Aiden, Lily, Zachery, Maxwell, Abigale, Peyton, Kate, Nathaniel, Jacob, Paul Jr., Devin, Dylan and Kaileigh; his great grandchildren, Everleigh, Chloe, Jackson and Elias; his sister Diana Bowers; and his brother-in-law Daniel Luke of Scottsville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
