He was predeceased by: his wife Jean; his sisters, Dorothy Newton and Mary Gilbert; and his daughter-in-law Crissa Gilbert. He is survived by: his children, Judith Randall (Larry Buczkowski), Robert Gilbert, Elizabeth Gilbert (Steven Huff) and Shirley Walton; his grandchildren, Erika Randall (Travis Brocklebank), Adam Randall (Karly), Sarah Weaver (Matt), Katelynn Higgins and Meghan Gilbert (Mike Poole); and his siblings, Alexander and Gertrude Donnelly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
