She was predeceased by: her husband Fran Oberer; and her sister Donna Powell. She is survived by: her children, Andrew Hodge, Amanda Murray (Alan) and Thomas Hodge. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 1 niece, and 2 nephews.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church.
