It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roderick J. MacDonald (Caledonia, New York), who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude MacDonald and Catherine Vogel MacDonald; and his siblings, Charles, John and Katherine Walters.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores; his children, Christine Optis (Nickolas), Timothy MacDonald (Shana Valerio) and Jeffrey MacDonald (Sue); his grandchildren, Nickolas (Lauren Bauerlein), Michael Optis (Manuela Vacca), Emily MacDonald, Matthew, Lindsey MacDonald and Stephanie Harneschfeger; his brother Gary; his sisters-in-law, Nancy and Dawn McDonald; and his great grandchildren, Colton and Magnolia Optis.
