He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Martin and Eddie Martin; and his brother Thomas Martin (Deborah J. Martin). He is survived by: his brother David Martin; his children, Amie Starr (Chris Bishop), Suzanne Ayres (George) and Jacob Starr (Brittney); and his grandchildren, Jillian, George, Brady, Ava, Emmalie and Lillyenne.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Andrews Church.
