He was predeceased by: his wife Erva; and his brother Robert Cripps. He is survived by: his children, Elaine Ezard (Jay), Alan Cripps, Joyce Peter (Carl) and Mary Sawtelle (Ron); his siblings, Marion Roth, Beatrice Radley and John Cripps Jr.; and his sister-in-law Barbara Cripps. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
