He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ashwood and Retha Ashwood (Collar); and his brothers, John Ashwood (Jack) and Richard Ashwood (Dick). He is survived by: his sister Jane L.; and his siblings-in-law, David J. Hodkinson, Barbara Ashwood of Evans Mills, NY and Elizabeth Ashwood (Betty) of Kentucky. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
