He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Cogswell and Mildred Cogswell (Houghtaling); and his siblings, Margaret Vogt (Peggy) and Burce Cogswell. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, Debbie, Ralph Jr., Steven, Joseph, Earl, Danny, Terri, Tammy and Matt; and his sister Shirley Johnson. He is also survived by his many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
