He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Ruland and Shirley Ruland (Buck); and his siblings, Nancy Ruland, Marie Trappanato, Kathy Ruland, Charles and Robert Ruland, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Christine Ruland of Cairo; his daughter Karen Rivenburgh (Dave) of Acra; his grandson Andrew J. Snyder of Acra; his great grandchild Mia Lynn Snyder of Acra; his granddaughter Mikayla Rivenburgh; and his siblings, Richard Ruland of Tennessee, William Ruland and Muriel "Huntz" Rivera. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, many extended family members and friends.
