He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Gardner and Greta Gardner (Vanderbogart); his granddaughter Cansas Bushey; his brother James Gardner (Jimmy); his uncle George Vanderbogart; his parents-in-law, Howard and Shirley Pecor; his brother-in-law Howard Pecor Jr.; and his pet Demi Bones.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Gardner; his children, Sinda Blea (Richard) of Duncan, SC, Bryan Gardner (Courtney) of West Chazy, Jessey Lavene (Bill) of Morrisonville, Jason Gardner of West Chazy and Leah Jubert (Jason) of Chazy; his grandchildren, Josey, Toryn Lavene, Taylor, Justin, Audrey Senecal and Alex Jubert; and his siblings, Bruce Gardner (Renee), Ronald Gardner (Donna), Elric Gardner, Carol Gardner-Allen and Butch Vanderbogart. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
