He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard A. and Elsie (Wolfe); his former wife Marian L. Thomas (Mills); his son Howard E. "Tom" Thomas, Jr.; and his grandson Jonathan Damon.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian Menshausen of Malone; his daughters, Margene T. Damon of Brushton and Patricia T. Clarke of Clinton; and his daughter-in-law Linda Wheeler (Steve) of Brewerton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
