It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hilda Shanley of Cadyville, New York, born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on June 25, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Scottish and William; her husband Bud; her brother George MacPherson; and her daughter Donna.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Libby Blake and Maggie Blake; her son Thomas (Keri Wood) of Plattsburgh; her grandchild Lindsey Shanley; her daughter Christine; her son-in-law Donald Blake of Morrisonville; her stepgrandchildren, Joshua Blake (Melissa), Jolinda Burgess (Randy Martin) and Jennifer McCasland (Cory); her children, Shari Weisse of Henderson, NY and Mitch Resler of Las Vegas, NV; her grandson Adam Resler of Las Vegas; and her sisters-in-law, Josette Shanley of Central Islip and Dianne MacPherson of Valley Cottage, NY. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her family will be forever grateful to the CVPH SNF team for all they have done – from supporting Mom's desire to continue to volunteer to serving as surrogate family during the height of the pandemic and most recently, helping her leave this world in peace, with dignity and surrounded by love. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
