He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfield Ormsbee and Anna Ormsbee (Goetz); his son Allen; his stepsons, Frank and Shane Niles; his grandson Joshua; and his siblings, John, Winfield, Leonard Ormsbee and Carrie Frisbee.
He is survived by: his wife Frances A. Ormsbee (Ruggles) of Buskirk; his children, Richard (Kate), Randy Ormsbee of North Carolina and Tracey Meyer (Charlie) of Pennsylvania; his brother Clyde Ormsbee of Texas; his stepsons, Ernie Niles Jr. (Donna) and Daniel Niles; his daughters-in-law, Tami Niles and Heather Niles; and his grandchildren, Westley, Bonnie, Amber, Jared, Kyle and Brianna. He is also survived by several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
