He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bittner and Helen Welch Bittner; his daughter Diane Lorenc; and his brother John Bittner. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Jasinski Bittner; his children, James Bittner (Margo), Edward Bittner (Yulia), Catherine Giuliano (Mark), Leonard Guagliano (Sharon) and Barbara Mielcarek; his siblings, George Bittner (Shirley) and Mary Koellmel; his children-in-law, Mark Lorenc and Vaughn Mielcarek; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Bittner and Don Koellmel. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 5 great grand children.
