He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Howell and Effie Bowles Howell; his parents-in-law, Albert and Jean Bucholtz; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Myers and Ricky Bucholtz.
He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Bucholtz Howell; his children, Jaime Howell and Jessica Howell; his grandson Christopher Cook; his sister Elizabeth "Mickey" Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Carman (Bryon), Mark Bucholtz (Virginia) and Bob Krantz. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and countless friends.
