He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Houghtaling and Katherine Houghtaling (Sutfin). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jean Preston; his daughters, Laurie Birdsall (William) of Canisteo, Linda Houghtaling (Craig Early) of Chemung and Leslie Cotton (Dennis) of Canisteo; and his grandchildren, Joseph Birdsall (Amanda), Brandon Birdsall (Danielle Wheaton), Jillian O'Connell (Greg) and Justin Puffer (Samantha Elston). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and aunts, uncles and many cousins.
