Elizabeth Van Horn Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Van Horn of Burnt Hills, New York, born in Johnsonburg, New Jersey, who passed away on November 18, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Casper Huizenga and May Huizenga (Kooger); her husband John G. Van Horn; her son John G. Van Horn II; and her siblings, Casper Huizenga and Geraldine Stibrany.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth M. Jones (Michael) and Melanie Balestra (Michael); her grandchildren, Brooke Jones, Sara Menei (Sam), Michael and Mark Balestra; her great grandchild Madeleine Menei; and her daughter-in-law Sherry Van Horn.
The family feels a great sense of gratitude to the Community Hospice of Saratoga and would like donations to be made to 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
